Our partner is one of the TOP 5 Romanian banking institutions. Dealing with complex business logic and connecting multiple integration components as part of their operations, an integration platform based on ESB architecture has been implemented.
Given the vast technological advancements made regularly and the dynamicity of the banking sector, these platforms can become obsolete in a matter of years, if not months.
Our partner decided to implement a future-oriented platform that will serve its business purposes for a longer time span.
We chose the Tibco Active Matrix Business Works platform, which covers all of our partner’s needs. Emphasizing the importance of APIs and microservice architectures, being able to provide multiple cutting-edge connectors, implementing EAI patterns, and supporting containerization, we dubbed it the best match for our partner’s operations.
We created two agile teams, working together “as one” for this project, along with our partner. Our knowledge and experience of the existing integration platform were a big plus in terms of understating the overall business architecture and the interactions between technical components.
The integration of new services was a success while also supporting the legacy ones until their decommission at the end of the migration process.
Tibco Business Works facilitates the development of applications that fit perfectly inside this type of architecture.
By using Tibco Business Works as an integration solution, mindit.io could easily take advantage of the out-of-the-box functionalities that have the purpose of implementing our partner’s required service security concerns.
The communication between our services was secured using the latest HTTPS protocols and user authentication and authorization mechanisms and administered access to integration APIs, all through a secured path using user management at the platform level.
