What’s something that happened to you that can only happen here? What’s unique about mindit.io?

One thing that I’ve always appreciated about mindit.io is the flexibility and that applies to many different situations. I can contribute with my knowledge and skills in many different areas and I don’t feel limited by my “role description”. The same applies to any challenges that appear along the way, I never feel the pressure of having to deal with a situation on my own, the approach is always “let’s see what WE can do about it”.

How have you grown professionally while on our team?

In many different ways. I had the opportunity to work on various projects with very different ways of working which is always a great way to step out of your comfort zone and learn new things.

What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work here?

When I was given an opportunity to take on a role although I didn’t have any previous practical experience in that area. I think it really shows how flexible mindit is and encouraging of people to follow their dreams.

How would you describe an ideal day at work?

I enjoy the special activities days in the office. It’s always nice to spend time with my colleagues, since I usually work from home. And if we’re barbecuing or making pancakes at the same time, all the better.

In one word, how would you describe your team?

The best (I know, I cheated)

If you could swap jobs with anyone in mindit.io for a day, who would it be and why?

Probably Finance or Office Admins, I don’t think we appreciate enough everything they do in the background for things to run as smoothly as they do.

Which benefits are your favorite and why?

Our mental health benefits are very close to my heart. I’ve been fully taking advantage of the 2 therapy sessions per month and it’s helped me a great deal.

What advice would you give anyone thinking about joining mindit.io?

Give it a shot, there’s nothing to lose!

What is the mindit.io value you feel the most and how you do you live it?

Authentic – we’re all different, but if we have the right context to discover where we shine the most, we become fulfilled while also bringing more value to our team.

If you could do anything else for a living, in an alternative universe, what would that be? 

For sure something involving spreading mental health awareness, either a therapist or something else related to this area.

What movie, book, or TV show would you recommend? How do you relax and unwind? 

One movie that has really stuck with me since I’ve seen it is Society of the Snow. Not an easy one to digest, but amazing from a cinematography point of view as well as the story behind it. But I wouldn’t shy away from a lazy summer day with a hammock and a good book either, most recently I’ve been into reading autobiographies, just finished Matthew Perry’s “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing”.
