What’s something that happened to you that can only happen here? What’s unique about mindit.io?

I’ve been trying to learn databricks for a while now, I’ve took a few online courses, but the only place I was allowed to work directly with databricks is mindit.io, so I’m so grateful for this opportunity.

How have you grown professionally while on our team?

During my 14 years experience I’ve worked both in a team and alone, but within this team I come to realize the power of the team. Each member in our team is helpful and spends time with you if you need help even if they have so much to do on their tasks.

What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work here?

Well it wasn’t  a specific moment per se, but like a few weeks after starting is when I realized this is a wonderful company that it really does matches all my wants with flexibility, opportunity to learn and wonderful people.

How would you describe an ideal day at work?

An ideal day at work is when every day presents an opportunity to enhance my abilities learn on the go and deliver to clients, like this I don’t feel that I capped my technical potential and that I also accomplished something.

In one word, how would you describe your team?

Efficient.

If you could swap jobs with anyone in mindit.io for a day, who would it be and why?

To be honest I would not swap jobs, I like the team and what I do, but in the future not swapping but progressing into a new position would be a position maybe in data science/ AI.

What advice would you give anyone thinking about joining mindit.io?

Just start, try, mindit.io will find a place for you where you’ll really enjoy.

The mindit.io value I feel the most is Professional – because we always deliver and we do that every day in our team.

If you could do anything else for a living, in an alternative universe, what would that be? 

I would like to be an astronaut and fly through the stars and see all the wonders of the universe.

What movie, book, or TV show would you recommend? How do you relax and unwind? 

I’m recommending the books Lord of the Rings, I also recommend the movies from 2001 to 2003 but not the current TV series because I’m a die hard Tolkien fan and the current TV series Rings of power is way way off the original script.
