How have you grown professionally while on our team?

Since joining the team, I have experienced significant professional growth in several key areas(technical skills, problem solving skills, adaptability etc.), which can be attributed to the company’s unique approach to fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and individual empowerment.

What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work here?

The moment I truly knew I’d made the right decision to work here was actually a personal gesture from the company that deeply touched not only me but my family as well. It happened on Mother’s Day, which had almost slipped my mind. 

mindit.io, in a display of thoughtfulness and consideration that goes beyond the usual corporate ethos, sent a beautiful gift to my mother on behalf of the company and myself. This gesture was profoundly meaningful. It exemplified the company’s value of not just seeing their people as professionals but as whole people with lives and relationships outside of work. 

This act of kindness is a testament to the culture of care and attention to detail that mindit.io fosters. This wasn’t a generic corporate initiative but a personalized gesture that required thoughtful consideration.

Dynamic, of course.

If you could swap jobs with anyone in mindit.io for a day, who would it be and why? What do you think would be the most surprising thing about their role?

If given the chance to swap jobs with anyone at mindit.io for a day, I’d choose to swap with Ioana, my wife, who also happens to work here in a different role. The choice is not just for the amusing dinner conversation we’d have later—it would be a fascinating dive into the world of management from her perspective. 

Which benefits are your favorite and why?

Among the many benefits offered, my absolute favorite would have to be the extra free days. These additional days off, provided on top of the regular holiday allowance, are a testament to the company’s commitment to work-life balance and recognizing the hard work of its employees. 

What advice would you give to anyone thinking about joining mindit.io?

For anyone contemplating joining, here are a few pieces of advice that could help you make the most of your experience and thrive in this vibrant community: be open to learning, embrace the culture, be yourself and always think big.

The value of professionalism resonates with me the most and it’s something I strive to embody in every aspect of my work. Living this value means more than just delivering high-quality work; it encompasses a set of principles and behaviors that guide how I interact with colleagues and engage with clients.

If you could do anything else for a living, in an alternative universe, what would that be? 

Not going to touch this subject.

What movie, book, or TV show would you recommend? How do you relax and unwind? 

I recommend reading A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole and The Good Soldier Švejk by Jaroslav Hašek. 

I relax & unwind by reading books, playing video games or spending time with my wife.
