George Munteanu’s mustache got him tagged as our next exciting mindit chats “victim,” and it’s all “thanks” to Eddy Moroianu, who couldn’t have nominated a more easy-going person to talk to.

Now let’s get into the juicy stuff. Shall we? 
First, I would like to point out that this is my first job, so I can only talk about what I know from others and what I have observed throughout the industry. 

What I like about mindit.io is that I’ve been part of 5-6 teams so far, and I enjoyed them all. The projects were interesting, and I had a lot to learn during each and every one of them.

I think it is unique that at mindit.io, you never feel like you must wake up and go to your job and live with the “another day, another dollar” mindset.

It’s really a place where you come to work with pleasure and enthusiasm. 
I started here in 2016, and although I was pretty much a noob back then, ever since I joined my first team, I felt like that’s where I belonged. Sure, I didn’t have the skills my colleagues already possessed. Still, inside, I kept motivating myself to learn, and everybody on the team was extremely helpful.  

They helped me grow professionally, not only regarding the programming side of things but also on a personal level, I would say. But you should probably ask them about that.

I had the chance to work with many new technologies I hadn’t encountered until then, and what’s certain about being part of mindit.io is that you never get bored. You either have challenging projects or challenging tasks, but one way or another, you manage to work them out as a team. 

Although I am not one to talk much, they made me feel at home straight from the get-go, and we instantly clicked.  
From the very beginning. Before getting this job, I figured that this would be just the first company in a long series that was to come. However, after 6 years, I still enjoy being a part of this constantly growing team of talented and kind people. 

mindit.io was a fun place to be a part of right from the start, and to this day, I still see the same energy, eagerness to help, and learning culture I discovered back in 2016.   
I wouldn’t say I have “a best day at work” or something specific to be proud of. There are plenty of awesome days and cool projects I could mention, but the feeling you get after a day’s work when you know that you did a good job that’s priceless.

Sometimes, I actually leave work with more energy than I had when I came to the office. And although some days are more challenging, your team makes it all worth it. It’s all about the people and the energy here. That’s what makes good days great!  
Easy to work with. Which is really good. Diverse. Trustful and trustworthy. 

You can count on them to get the job done. And I hope they say that about me as well. I don’t see them as colleagues or people I work with… It’s more than that. After all that we’ve been through together, I’d consider us friends.
Flexibility is one of the best benefits you can get from your workplace. You can work from home, our offices, or minditNomad homes located in Bucharest, Constanta, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Sibiu, and Comarnic, or coworking spaces by Pluria all over the world. It is definitely exciting and a big plus in my book.

You also have a learning budget to improve your skills and a travel budget to do whatever makes you happy. Definitely not something to shy away from.

Also, you can build your work schedule the way you want, based on your lifestyle. For example, I choose to come to the office a few days a week because I like connecting with my colleagues, and this way, I never get bored from working in the same place all week. 
I don’t know. I really don’t know. I would probably delegate something, but I really don’t know what. I’d probably do nothing well, given my lack of experience in the role.

I would try to stall time as much as possible so that day would pass without me ruining something. 
Do it. Apply. Take a leap of faith. You’ll like it. And also, literally, we have cookies! You have a lot of opportunities here, and the working environment is truly unique and pleasant.

I only play games during the weekend when I have some heavy World of Tanks sessions. It’s one of my guilty weekend pleasures. I watch a lot of movies and TV shows, and I read whatever I find interesting.   

I go to the gym 3 times a week because if the pandemic has taught me anything, that’s the importance of taking care of your body and staying healthy.
