What’s something that happened to you that can only happen here? What’s unique about mindit.io?

The work environment is so pleasing and nice it makes you really enjoy working here.

How have you grown professionally while on our team?

I have grown a lot. I got the chance to be involved in a multitude of projects, from consultant to developer to middleware and this offered me the opportunity to learn a little bit of everything, which is amazing to me because I am the type of person who prefers to learn all aspects of programming and not to only focus on one technology or framework.

What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work here?

From the moment I joined the team. Everybody was cool and calm, eager to help with my onboarding and they really made it seem like we are not only colleagues but also friends and it’s true that with many of them I really became friends.

How would you describe an ideal day at work?

Like any other regular day in mindit. Especially the days when I come to the office and get to meet my colleagues, get a cup of coffee in the morning togheter, we catch up a little bit and then start working together to close our tasks. Also, there are a lot of surprises when coming to the office, like watching the Romanian team play against Netherlands in the Euro cup. That was a really cool initiative like many others.

In one word, how would you describe your team?

Amazing!

If you could swap jobs with anyone in mindit.io for a day, who would it be and why?

I don’t really think I would want to swap jobs with anyone currently, I like what I am doing and I hope I become better and better at this.

Which benefits are your favorite and why?

Definitely, the travel budget. Once you at achieve at least 2 years in mindit, you get to have a travel budget you can spend on accommodation or travel expenses. Really cool benefit.

What advice would you give anyone thinking about joining mindit.io?

Just do it! The work environment is really cool, the people working here are nice, the projects are very interesting and you have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, so I would just say go for it!

What is the mindit.io value you feel the most and how you do you live it?

If you could do anything else for a living, in an alternative universe, what would that be? 

Well, I think it’s always been humanities dream to be able to fly, and I think the best way you could achieve this is by flying a jet, so definitely a jet fighter pilot 😀

What movie, book, or TV show would you recommend? How do you relax and unwind? 

Mostly, by going out with my friends, traveling and of course watching a good movie. I’m a bit of a cinephile so I have some recommendations. I love Tarantino’s and Cristopher Nolan’s films. I would recommend Inglourious Basterds from Tarantino, or Interstellar by Cristopher Nolan. But, if you would rather watch a TV series, I would definitely recommend season 1 of True Detective by Nic Pizzolatto.
