1. What’s something that happened to you that can only happen here? What’s a unique part about working here?  

I would start by saying that mindit.io is a unique place from many points of view, but what truly makes it stand out is the feedback-on-the-spot culture we have here.  

You get to receive feedback immediately, which allows you to improve your work at a much faster pace.  

This really helps with both my personal and professional development.  

2. How have you grown professionally while on our team?  

It’s my first IT workplace so I can definitely say that I’ve learned a lot since joining mindit.io. I’ve learned how to prioritize tasks, how to work as part of a team and how to be more proactive, how to take ownership of tasks.

Everyone on the team has urgent tasks that need to be taken care of, but we always help each other out whenever needed. We make sure that everything is done on time, because, as we always say – we always deliver!  

3. What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work here?  

I knew it was going to be hard and stressful at the beginning because everything I was doing was new to me. However, the moment I found out about mindit.io and applied for a role here, I knew that this is where I wanted to be.  

I had no doubts. This is what I wanted to do ever since I first heard of the IT sector and what opportunities this industry has to offer, and I’m really happy with my decision to join mindit.io.  

4. How would you describe an ideal day at work?  

Well, since anyone can work from home, or from anywhere, my day usually starts with opening my laptop. I go over my emails and then we start our daily team calls where we set the priorities for the day.  

I really enjoy the days when we have office events, such as boardgame night, or simply entering a random “sync call” with the team where we talk about anything else but work. Just like a friends get together at the pub, only online, because we are located all over the country. It’s really a cool team to be a part of, and that can make any workday a lot easier, no matter how intense the tasks can be sometimes.  

5. What is your team like?    

Efficient, focused, and result driven. It’s hard to describe such talented and complex individuals in just one word.  

We have a great team dynamic, and we help each other out with each opportunity we get.  

Everybody’s got your back. Like I previously said, we always deliver, and this is largely due to the way we interact with one another on both a personal and professional level. We act as a team and it shows.  

6. Which benefits are your favorite and why?  

minditNomad is without a doubt my favorite benefit. I’ve been to the minditNomad Comarnic home several times together with my teammates and I even went to the Iasi home.

We had a lot of fun working and spending time together.  

Also, the flexibility we have in terms of being able to work from anywhere is another benefit I enjoy a lot. And, as part of our constant learning initiatives, whenever you want to take a course, mindit.io has you covered with everything you need. It’s part of our DNA.  

7. What advice would you give to anyone thinking about joining mindit.io?    

You have nothing to lose! You have a 3-month trial period, and you can see for yourself if mindit.io is the right place for you.  

During this time, if you feel like you want to work on another project or switch teams, our managers are always looking into solutions so anyone can craft their own career path. So, I have no doubts that you’ll find something you like here!

8. If you could do anything else for a living, in an alternative universe, what would that be?  

I would probably do the same thing. Honestly. I feel like I’m already living my professional dream and, in the future, perhaps I’ll switch to Java development.  

But other than that, I would be doing the same thing in any alternative universe you were to place me in.

  
9. What movie, book, or TV show would you recommend? How do you relax and unwind?    

I love gaming. I’m really into DOTA and I fancy myself being quite good at it. You’ll probably see me attending the World Cup in about 5 years. Fingers crossed!

In terms of TV Shows, Doctor Who is at the top of my list. The story is simply amazing. That’s what would sum up my spare time and how I relax and unwind.
