What’s something that happened to you that can only happen here? What’s unique about mindit.io?

Due to the way offices and nomad houses are merged, I get to know a lot of people from the company from all over the country and make acquaintances with wonderful people.

How have you grown professionally while on our team?

Since entering mindit.io I’ve taken more and more responsibility in my current team which in turn builds character, furthermore, my team was very open minded and it allowed me to take part in the optimization of our work flow through constant feedback, brainstorming sessions. Apart from our project I’ve also lend a hand in mindit’s People Team and also helped organize events locally in our Sibiu office.

What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work here?

When I first joined mindit.io, I was still in University and so my schedule was all over the place and I was worried that this might become an issue, but thankfully it was never the case since my colleagues were very understanding of my situation and cooperated with me the best they could.

How would you describe an ideal day at work?

Walk to the office in the morning, arrive, make a cup of coffee and start developing with minimal distractions throughout the day.

In one word, how would you describe your team?

Open-minded (is that one or two words ??)

If you could swap jobs with anyone in mindit.io for a day, who would it be and why? What do you think would be the most surprising thing about their role?

Definitely Vlad Birla, my man seems like he always has energy to spare and it would be a fun change of pace from the usual “enter words, pc goes brr”.

Which benefits are your favorite and why?

It’s between the fully remote work and the nomad houses. Working remotely means I can always spend the day near my family or friends and never having to worry “who’s gonna pick up that package?”. On the other side, having Nomad houses gives you a nice incentive to travel more and visit places more often, so that you can better pick up the atmosphere of the town.

What is the mindit.io value you feel the most and how you do you live it?

Honest feedback on the spot, it’s been and always will be the best way to assure clear understanding of people’s expectations.

If you could do anything else for a living, in an alternative universe, what would that be? 

Probably carpentry, apparently my bloodline has a knack for it, always trying to build stuff with your own hands.

What movie, book, or TV show would you recommend? How do you relax and unwind? 

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley is a great book for Science Fiction fans, as for unwinding, sleep is usually my go to remedy.
