ESG, or Environmental, Social, and Governance, is a concept that has gained a lot of traction in recent years.
More and more young employees and customers are choosing companies that prioritize sustainability, inclusivity, and ethical practices. At mindit.io, we strongly believe in the power of ESG – and its importance in today’s world.
As an organization that prioritizes sustainability and ethical practices, we have made our #DoGood program an integral part of our operations. Our #DoGood initiatives focus on educational, inclusivity, and environmental causes, and we are proud of the impact we have had on communities in Romania.
In March, during our #DoGoodMonth, we took a moment to look back at some of the amazing moments we had with our people, our partners and our volunteers.
Last October, we joined forces with Mare Nostrum, “Independenta” Technological High School children, and Teach for Romania volunteers, to collect 150 kg of garbage from a beach in Mamaia Nord, Constanta.
Through this initiative, we wanted to raise awareness about environmental issues and encourage people to take responsibility for their actions. Our commitment to environmental causes extends beyond just cleaning up beaches. We also collaborate with Plantăm fapte bune în România (Planting Good Deeds) to plant trees and care for unproductive public lands in Romania.
We recently planted 3,500 acacia trees in Podu Iloaiei, Iasi, and we are excited to see them grow and blossom in the years to come. Plantăm fapte bune în România has already planted over 2,000,000 saplings in 35 counties of Romania, with almost 45,000 volunteers participating in their actions. Inclusivity is also a core value for us at mindit.io. We are proud signatories of Carta Diversitatii because we believe that everyone deserves equal opportunities, regardless of their race, gender, or background.
That’s why we collaborate with NGOs and other organizations to provide educational programs and scholarships to underprivileged communities. By doing so, we hope to create a more inclusive society where everyone has access to the same opportunities. We are happy and proud to be a company that takes CSR responsibilities seriously. We hope that more companies will make CSR an integral part of their operations, so that we can all work together to create a better future for our planet and our society.
