nomad – a member of a group of people who move from one place to another rather than living in one place all the time
Let’s start with a short exercise.
Close your eyes; you’re writing your e-mails from the patio of a beautiful house, just a few minutes away from the beach.
Now the scenery changes; you just took a call from a hammock, the air is a bit chilly and fresh, and you can hear the mountains roaring all around you.
Feels nice, doesn’t it? A bit dreamy even. Maybe you feel more inspired, keen to tackle all those tasks?
During the pre-covid era, just thinking of mobility, freedom, and travel took your imagination to free time and maybe to some influencers.
Although it came naturally to think of freedom as a creativity enhancer (there are even many studies and books on this topic), it felt out of this world to have it at your day-to-day job.
COVID and its safety measurements (even if necessary) made us feel caged, our freedom and mobility ripped out of us. It’s known to start missing something after it’s not yours anymore, right? Well, we really missed our colleagues and teams, but we did miss our travels too.
Wanting to have it both ways, with an eye on innovation, we enhanced an existing project that is now a pillar of the mindit culture.
An innovative approach is not applied only to the way we work but also to where we work from. What started with the office & the apartment in Constanta back in 2018 is now minditNomad, adding new cities and houses to our Nomad map (Bucuresti, Comarnic, Sibiu, Iasi, Cluj).
minditNomad is designed to build a flexible context for all mindit people to work and have fun in great locations, be it with their colleagues, or with their friends & family.
