What’s something that happened to you that can only happen here? What’s unique about mindit.io?
I know I have to choose just one thing because otherwise, I could go on and on about some of the things that are truly mindit.io-specific and can only be found in such an environment. One of the things I consider unique is that I get to host the monthly meetings and talk to all of my 250+ colleagues at once. While this may sound strange or frightening to most people, I see it as the perfect practice for public speaking, which really gives me a thrill every single time.
How have you grown professionally while on our team?
For the past three years, I’ve been involved in all aspects, processes, and operations of the Marketing team, and I’ve had the opportunity to learn a little bit (and a lot, in many cases) from each activity I’ve been part of. This has helped enhance my professional DNA—if I’m allowed to use fancy expressions.
What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work here?
The moment I stepped inside the Bucharest office on a warm day in May. It was sunny outside, cozy inside. The people I met on my first day were just as warm as the beautiful spring weather. Everything felt right, and to this day, I know I made the right decision to join this amazing community.
How would you describe an ideal day at work?
It all starts with a little stretching to get the blood flowing, followed by caffeine. Cliché? I know. But it does the trick every single time, making each day a potential ideal one if you know which tasks to tackle first.
In one word, how would you describe your team?
Gangsters.
If you could swap jobs with anyone in mindit.io for a day, who would it be and why?
I couldn’t name a particular person, but I would definitely swap places with someone from a completely different department—just for a day—to see how our team looks from a different perspective.
Which benefits are your favorite and why?
The ability to work from anywhere is my number one benefit, closely followed by our gorgeous minditNomad homes, which allow us to take a break every once in a while. It makes you feel like you have not one but several vacation homes spread across the country.

What is the mindit.io value you feel the most and how do you live it?
TEAM! We’re definitely a team, and it doesn’t take long to notice this—just a couple of hours in our community (if not less) and you’ll feel it.
If you could do anything else for a living, in an alternative universe, what would that be?
I would probably become a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) instructor, a stand-up comedian, or both. And there’s still time to do these things on the side. Now all I have to do is learn how to fight and how to make people laugh. That shouldn’t be too hard, right?
What movie, book, or TV show would you recommend? How do you relax and unwind?
I would recommend anything written by George Orwell, especially his two most popular works, Animal Farm and 1984, but also Down and Out in Paris and London.
In terms of movies, one of my all-time favorites is a comedy called 10 Things I Hate About You—I always rewatch it with pleasure.
For TV shows, I’d go with The Office, Seinfeld, The Wire, and Shōgun.
