What’s something that happened to you that can only happen here? What’s unique about mindit.io?
I had the opportunity from the very first steps of my career to work with amazing people and put my hands on important things, not just beginner tasks. That was like steroids for my skills.
How have you grown professionally while on our team?
I worked on multiple projects/teams and as I said to the previous question, every project came with new challenge, so I had to investigate more and therefore I learned more.
What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work here?
I would like to say “from the beginning”, but I want to be more precise. I think it was the moment I started to work on my first project when I realized that the training period was a success.
How would you describe an ideal day at work?
I don’t have a blueprint of an ideal day, but the thing I search when I think of such a day is to be learning something new and drag all my tasks into “Done”.
In one word, how would you describe your team?
Amazing.
If you could swap jobs with anyone in mindit.io for a day, who would it be and why? What do you think would be the most surprising thing about their role?
I always loved backend development, so I would like to experience a day of one of my backend colleagues.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking about joining mindit.io?

What is the mindit.io value you feel the most and how you do you live it?
I enjoyed most the fact that even as a junior developer I felt that my opinion matters. I had my senior colleagues trust to work on features as I thought was best.
If you could do anything else for a living, in an alternative universe, what would that be?
A train driver or something that has to do with mechanics.
What movie, book, or TV show would you recommend? How do you relax and unwind?
I recommend the Bible. This book is so overlooked these days. When I’m stressed I find peace in it, when I am tired I find rest in it. As the Word says:
“He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake” Psalms 23:2,3
