For this role:
We are looking for a curious and creative person with a passion for diving into data, to join our ranks as a Data Solution Architect. You will work alongside a team of other accomplished developers and architects, delivering complex data-driven projects across various products to bring value together to our partners.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidelines for a smooth transition of all reporting assets of the company during the migration
- Support the team with proposals on best practices for how to set up the data lake
- Designing Solutions in Microsoft Azure as per project specifications and needs
- Join the project of migrating from the data warehouse infrastructure to the data lake architecture using Databricks
- Drive architecture and technical discussion to lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions scale, performance, and agility
- Configure and manage customer Azure cloud environment
- Develop, optimize, and oversee the company’s logical, conceptual, and physical data model and provide recommendations
- ETL scriptwriting, data modeling, and design, setting up jobs, and keeping the flow from the back end to the front end
What are we looking for:
- Advanced SQL/ Spark SQL/ PySpark
- Advanced ETL and Data modeling Experience
- Proficiency/Advanced Knowledge in Azure Databricks, Data Warehouse and Lakehouse concepts, Medallion Architecture
- Database administration and optimization
- Expertise with BI Visualization Tools (Power BI)
- Expertise with Azure Cloud stack (ADF, Azure SQL DB, Storage Accounts, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Functions)
- Understanding software development practices like source control, CI/CD, etc.
Nice to have:
- Other BI tools: Qlik, SSRS
- Past experience with Cloud Migrations
- Scripting (Powershell, Bash)
- REST integration as data sources or destinations
