About the role:
We are looking for an Application Analyst to join our team and contribute to the success of our e-commerce client by ensuring smooth integration and optimization of business-critical applications.
Location & Work Setup:
The position is based in the Bucharest Office, near Lujerului metro station, with a flexible hybrid way of working.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the implementation of projects requiring IT components—applications, modules, and information systems
- Analyze business stakeholders’ requirements to create technical Change Request Documents (CRD)
- Communicate and support technical requirements to internal (RO) and external (EN) partners based on a standardized submission process
- Validate technical solutions proposed by internal/external partners through Functional Description Documents (FSD), ensuring optimal integration across applications, infrastructure, data, business processes, and IT organization
- Provide support during and after project implementation (drafting technical test scenarios, UAT execution, and signoff)
- Support Change Management processes, including communication, organizational transformation, Move to Production, and Hypercare
- Provide L2 support for applications and systems under responsibility
- Identify and propose process and technical solution optimizations in collaboration with external partners and IT teams within the Group
- Conduct training sessions for key users across different departments involved in implemented projects, creating training materials and procedural documentation
What are we looking for:
- University degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3-5 years of experience in IT project implementation (preferably in an e-commerce or retail/logistics environment)
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and documentation skills
- Strong understanding of technical and operational process flows
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to understand retail/logistics operational processes and suggest optimizations
- Experience with ERP and/or WMS system configurations and optimizations
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM) and previous experience working with Jira
