About the role:
We are looking for an Senior AI Application Engineer will play a crucial role in managing AI customer projects, developing our AI strategy, building our AI capabilities, and ensuring the successful integration of AI technologies into our projects to drive innovation and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and integration of AI solutions into software applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements
- Architect scalable and robust AI systems that enhance application performance and deliver impactful user experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI implementation, advocating for strategic initiatives that leverage artificial intelligence
- Oversee the development of AI models and frameworks, guaranteeing their quality, scalability, and maintainability
- Ensure seamless communication of AI-driven insights and architectural decisions to stakeholders through comprehensive documentation, reports, and presentations
- Guide the adoption of AI strategies and technologies across the organization, fostering an innovative culture focused on AI advancements
- Continuously evaluate AI architectural practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve application capabilities, focusing on AI Agents
What are we looking for:
- Strong background in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field (MSc/PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or AI project delivery
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and Databricks
- Solid understanding of ML algorithms (tree-based, linear models, clustering, anomaly detection, recommendation systems, etc.)
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
- Exposure to banking/financial services data is a strong advantage
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on integrating AI-driven solutions to enhance service offerings
- Exposure to MLOps practices (MLflow, CI/CD for ML) being a strong advantage
- Experience developing or deploying AI models
