About the role:
We are looking for a motivated and curious Data Engineer Intern to join our team and support us in building scalable and reliable data solutions. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data engineering, work alongside experienced professionals, and contribute to real projects that drive business decisions.
- Location: Hybrid / Remote
- Duration: 3-month internship, with the possibility of extension
- Start Date: End of July 2025

Responsibilities:
- Improve and optimize existing ETL processes and data monitoring systems
- Support data integration workflows, including ingestion, transformation, and transfer of data across systems
- Assist in data modeling and schema design with an emphasis on enabling analytics and reporting
- Contribute to the documentation and automation of data workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, data scientists, and software engineers
What are we looking for:
- Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala)
- Familiarity with databases, data structures, and algorithms
- Interest in data pipelines, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), and big data tools is a plus
- Eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Nice to Have / Willing to Learn:
- Familiarity with Databricks
- Exposure to Azure Data Factory, GIT, or similar tools
- Interest or experience in data visualization using Power BI or Qlik Sense
- Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
