You will be working alongside a team of other accomplished developers, across a variety of products to bring value together to our partner who has a 40% market share of retail travel worldwide.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in test automation development, using the following frameworks and tools: Cucumber, Selenium (WebDriver), Java, Postman
- Deep knowledge and extensive experience in various types of testing like Unit, integration, smoke, functional, regression, performance, etc.,
- Experience with REST/SOAP Web Service concepts and experience with API Testing (parse JSON, XML data)
- Experience with Jenkins for automation test execution
- Experience in SoapUI for the back-end part
Responsibilities:
- Critical thinking to translate complex application flows and business/technical requirements into test cases
- Participation in requirement reviews and development design sessions to understand the functionality and business flow of the platform and provide important testing insights
- Covering non-functional requirements (Cross-Browser, Accessibility, Performance, Security) with an appropriate testing approach
- Understanding and Analyzing the Application Under Test in terms of Object Identification, identifying object locators, and creating an object Repository
- Developing Test Scripts and Step-Definitions in BDD (Behavior Driven Development) using Cucumber (Gherkin’s format) and Selenium Java
- Recommending testing approaches and improving existing automated tests, finding the right balance between test coverage/duration with taking risk into consideration
- Ensuring proper version control and configuration management of all test scripts and test data
- Investigating failures, performing root cause analysis, establishing a prioritization, and utilizing the internal defect tracking tool to create detailed defect reports
- Working with the engineering teams to create and maintain an automated nightly test execution job
- Supporting Release management process as per defined process
- Providing test automation expertise to development teams
